On3 Strategies

Erik Sauer is the founder of On3 Strategies, a coaching and consulting firm that has spent more than 25 years helping independent financial advisors and business owners scale practices that have outgrown their systems. On3 has grown entirely through referrals, with no advertising, and has coached firms through explosive growth, including one practice that grew from $60 million to nearly $1 billion in assets under management. In 2008, Erik survived a battle with leukemia and a bone marrow transplant, an experience that stripped away his patience for wasted time and taught him to call out what is not working, in a business or in a life. That experience also led him to co-found There Goes My Hero, a Baltimore based nonprofit where he now serves as Chairman of the Board. To date, the organization has registered more than 19,000 bone marrow donors and helped facilitate 69 life saving transplants. Erik also serves as President of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland.
