John Streur is Senior Managing Director of Boston Common, guiding the firm’s business strategy, product development, business development, and client engagement. He joined in January 2025 as CIO of the All-Material Risk Investment System (AMRIS). From 2014 to 2024, he was President, CEO, and Chairman of Calvert Research and Management, leading its growth from ~$11 billion to over $40 billion in AUM. He previously served as President and Principal of Portfolio 21 and co-founded AMG Funds. John serves on the boards of Columbia Land Trust, Wharton’s ESG Initiative, and was a founding member of the Investor Advisory Group for SASB.
